Events and training

Training strengthens the knowledge, skills and attitudes that support advocacy and union activities in the education sector. The majority of the training offered by our organisation is aimed at shop stewards, regional experts, association presidents and occupational health and safety operators. When the contractual situation requires it, OAJ organises events for organisational preparedness to support the negotiations.

As a rule, the aim is to organise central level training mainly at OAJ’s own premises in Akavatalo, Kellosilta 7, 00520 Helsinki, Finland. In the event of an exceptional situation, we take into account any required measures as necessary in the arrangements.
