OAJ operates the online store in cooperation with the Finnish company Innoflame. OAJ associations can order free and paid products bearing the OAJ logo from the online store for associations. Likewise, members can order individual products from the online store for members.
OAJ selects what products are suitable for the online store. Innoflame is responsible for the sale, manufacture and storage of products, as well as transport.
OAJ's online store for members
The principles we follow in the online store are:
- Domestic: We prefer products manufactured nearby or designed in Finland. The country of manufacture must be clear for each product. The general principle is to choose a product that is manufactured as close as possible (Finland, the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries, Europe).
- Responsibility: The production conditions must be known. We require that production countries have a democratic system and that the rights of employees are ensured. We prefer fair trade products.
- Ecological: We prefer recycled and renewable materials. In our range, we have paid attention to the recyclability, life cycle and carbon footprint of the products, including during the manufacturing process and transport. The product must also have a clear purpose.
- High quality: The products have a long service life. The product corresponds to the intended use and the prints last over time. When you buy products from OAJ’s online store, you know that these issues have already been taken into account.
